Our Pre-School (Acorn Class)
At St Mary's, our Pre-School is a valued part of our school family, providing a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, play and thrive from the age of three.
Since opening, our Pre-School has become an important part of our Early Years provision. By learning alongside our Reception children, our youngest pupils benefit from a seamless transition into school life, helping them develop confidence, independence and a love of learning from the very beginning.
Our dedicated staff create exciting opportunities for exploration, creativity and discovery both indoors and outdoors. Through play-based learning, children build strong foundations in communication, language, social skills and early development, all within a caring and supportive environment where every child is known and valued.
We are incredibly proud of how quickly our children settle, forming friendships, developing their confidence and growing in independence each day. Visitors often comment on the happy, family atmosphere that makes our Early Years setting such a special place to learn.
